
The Quality Concept
Quality starts in the vineyard. Restrained pruning of the vines, combined with yield reduction, careful and natural cultivation of the vineyard-soil and selective harvesting of the grapes by hand guarantee that great wines are created, distinguished by a homogenous aroma structure.
Several phases of selective harvesting allow highly valuable Spätlese-, Auslese-, Beeren- and Trockenbeerenauslese-Wines to be produced.
The grapes are very carefully processed in an ultra modern pneumatic press.
After a slow fermentation process of 6 to 12 weeks in stainless steel tanks, the wines mature on the fine yeast without exposure to oxygen. This conserves their aromas and a long lasting freshness.
